Convert your Stage 4 (Spool) to a Stage 5 (Auto Locker)
 
Kit includes the Carrier and Auto Locker Internals to convert your Stage 4 into a Stage 5 and shims to adjust/maintain backlash and bearing preloads.
 
Kit does not include the CV Joints, Diff Case, Bearings, Diff Gears, Seals, Shims - This is an UPGRADE kit with internal components only to upgrade your STAGE 4 to a STAGE 5
 
Requires Differential to be disassembled, ring gear removed from the Spool Carrier and Bolted onto the Auto Locker Carrier
 
Requires the diff backlash and carrier bearing preload to be set by adjusting carrier bearing shims
 
(Please do not attempt installation unless you have experience in setting up Automotive Style Differentials, backlash, and bearing preloads and the necessary tools to measure backlash and bearing torque to rotate loads)
 
GEN II (Narrower Spool) suits 2018 and later X3
